BlueIce Brands and their Parent Division 2112 Direct Marketing are pleased to report that they have donated Matt Haywood’s game-worn 2014 play-off jersey to the Braehead Clan to be raffled at the game against Dundee Stars on 3rd January.
The jersey was worn by Matt Haywood in the Clan’s fantastic play-off run in 2014 when they finished 3rd in the British Elite League after beating Fife Flyers in the 3rd place play-off having been narrowly beaten in the semi-final by the ultimate winners, the Sheffield Stealers.
Ian Brown, owner of 2112 Direct Marketing & BlueIce Brands said “Like everyone living in the Glasgow area and the rest of the country, we were shocked and saddened by the tragic events at Queen Street in Glasgow. Our thoughts are with the families of those who lost loved ones.
When I found out that the Braehead Clan were collecting for the fund at the game on 3rd January, I though that donating Matt Haywood’s Elite League play-off jersey would be a great way to help to
We are glad to be able to help in any way we can and we hope that raffling the jersey raises a significant amount of money for the victims fund”.
